Alexander Tuttle is the founding principal of Tuttle Law Firm. Mr. Tuttle has an established and extensive real estate and construction background, representing owners, developers, condo and coop boards, contractors, and designers in commercial and high-end residential real estate and construction transactions and litigation, and providing corporate advisory and compliance services. Mr. Tuttle has successfully negotiated and arranged for comprehensive and complex contracts in connection with the acquisition, leasing, development and renovation of small and large-scale residential and commercial developments.

Mr. Tuttle is an experienced litigator, with an established track record of successfully representing individual and institutional clients. Mr. Tuttle currently serves as counsel to the Board of Managers of a downtown luxury high-rise building seeking recovery of $20 million in damages against the developer of the building. Mr. Tuttle’s other matters include successfully defending the developers of a high-rise tower in mid-town Manhattan against $21 million in change order claims by the construction manager in arbitration, serving as counsel to the Sponsor of a luxury high-rise condominium development in a landmarked district of Tribecca on a variety of transactional, compliance, zoning, real estate, and litigation matters, and representing the owners of a multi-million dollar upper east side townhouse improvement project and successfully defending and dismissing, by pre-answer motion and at oral argument in Supreme Court, New York County, the contractor’s substantial six figure claim of alleged non-payment.

Mr. Tuttle graduated from the George Washington University Law School in 2002 and earned his B.A. in Psychology from Emory University in 1999. Prior to founding Tuttle Law Firm, Mr. Tuttle was a a Partner at one of the most prestigious construction law practices in the country.

Mr. Tuttle comes from a long line of highly distinguished real estate designers and developers, including Frederick Law Olmsted. Mr. Tuttle is licensed to practice law in Connecticut and New York and has a Masters in Real Estate at New York University, with a focus in real estate development. Mr. Tuttle is a member of the New York State Bar Association, Urban Land Institute, and Young Real Estate Professionals of New York.
